La descubrí hace poco por la magia del Facebook y apenas la vi sentí selva, luego viendo su página vi que un referente suyo era Pablo Amaringo y ya no di vuelta atrás a sus galerías.
El arte de Paula Duró esta lleno de color, símbolos, misticismo, magia, naturaleza y un toque kitsch. Exactamente todo lo que me gusta. Me encantan sus composiciones, como todo se ve tan lleno pero armónico, me fascinan sus combinaciones de colores pasteles y casi neones, sus líneas son firmes pero suaves y tiene esa fuerza y delicadeza de una mujer. Las situaciones que plasma se ven rutinarias en ese mundo imaginario.

Through the magic of Facebook I have recently discovered the art of Paula Duró and as soon as I saw it I felt the jungle. After seeing her FB page I saw that one of her references was peruvian artist Pablo Amaringo and with that information I couldn't turn back to whatever I was doing, I just kept scrolling to her image gallery.
Paula's art is full of color, symbols, mysticism, magic, nature and a kitsch touch... all the things that I like. I love her compositions how everything looks so full but harmonious, her color combinations fascinate me the mix of almost neon and pastel colors. Her lines are firm but soft, they have the strength and delicacy of a woman. The situations she portraits are the routine in her imaginary world.
I dont have anything else to say, but it's a must to check her out.
